Cerys
Stylist
I’ve been in the hairdressing industry for seven years, and throughout that time I’ve come to love every aspect of it—whether it’s precision cutting, styling, or especially colouring. Colour is my passion; there’s something incredibly satisfying about transforming shades, tones and textures to bring out each person’s style and confidence.
What really makes my work satisfying is seeing the smile on a client’s face when they leave the salon. Knowing someone feels good about how they look - that gives me a real buzz!
I believe that hairdressing is as much about the experience as it is about the technicality. From the moment someone steps in, to the styling chair, to the final reveal, I aim to make every visit feel personal, creative, and enjoyable.
Q&A WITH CERYS:
Q. Your favourite hairdressing memory?
A. One of my favourite memories is doing hair and makeup for my friends on prom day. It wasn’t just about styling; it was about helping them feel their best for one of those milestone evenings. The excitement, the nerves, the final reveal - it reminded me why I do what I do.
Q .Your salon playlist?
A. When it comes to the salon atmosphere, I like to keep the music upbeat and familiar. I often tune into Gold Radio (UK), which plays classic hits from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. It’s perfect for creating a warm, nostalgic yet energetic vibe - clients feel relaxed, and the team enjoys the ride.
Q .How long have you been hairdressing?
A. 7 years
